HAYA Financial Strategies & Insurance Agency was founded in 2021 by Shakeb 'Shak' Kundiwala for people who want thoughtful guidance, practical education, and a calmer way to approach important planning decisions.
Our role

Founder
Shakeb "Shak" Kundiwala is a Sacramento-based entrepreneur and financial professional focused on helping families, professionals, and business owners become more financially organized, protected, and prepared.
He founded HAYA Financial Strategies & Insurance Agency in 2021 after seeing how often important decisions sit between categories: insurance, household organization, income protection, estate planning documents, business needs, and professional referrals.
Shak helps clients think through life insurance strategy, disability income protection, personal financial education, and estate planning coordination. When a question belongs with a qualified attorney, tax professional, financial advisor, or other specialist, HAYA helps identify that next step rather than stretching beyond its role.
His broader background includes serving as a New York Life agent from 2021 to 2026, working as a Hewlett Packard Enterprise solution architect in professional services, founding and leading Workative Inc., serving as CEO of Shariawiz Advisory LLC, and founding the Sacramento Metro Muslim Chamber of Commerce.
As a modern Muslim American, father and stepfather, Shak brings a practical, community-oriented, values-driven perspective to conversations that deserve both clarity and care.
